To publish across every platform from one draft, FeedMansion needs each social account connected. When you click Connect, a popup opens where you log in to the platform and grant permissions. If something goes wrong during that flow, try the steps below.
First thing to try: Private/Incognito window
If any account connection fails — the login screen freezes, won't load, or something just doesn't work — try connecting in a private/incognito browser window first.
Browser cookies, cached logins, and extensions can sometimes interfere with the OAuth login flow. A private window gives you a clean slate:
- Open a private/incognito window in your browser
- Go to FeedMansion and log in
- Try connecting your account there
- Once connected, close the private window — the account will be available in your normal browser
This solves the vast majority of connection issues across all platforms.
Connecting multiple accounts on the same platform
Each time you click "Connect," you'll be prompted to log in. Log in with the account you want to connect and grant permissions. Repeat for each additional account.
If you're having trouble connecting multiple accounts, use the private/incognito window approach above. This is especially common with X/Twitter, where being logged into one account can interfere with connecting another.
Threads: Cookie consent page (404 error)
When connecting your Threads account, you may land on a Meta privacy/consent page that shows a 404 error. This happens when "Optional Cookies" are disabled in Meta's account settings.
To fix this (in the Threads app or at accountscenter.meta.com):
- Open Settings
- Go to Meta Accounts Center
- Under Your Information and Permissions, open Manage Cookies
- Activate the Optional Cookies setting
After enabling optional cookies, try connecting your Threads account in FeedMansion again.
Threads: Follower count not showing in Analytics
After importing analytics for your Threads account, you might notice that the follower count is missing. This is a limitation of the Threads API. Meta does not provide follower counts for accounts with fewer than 100 followers.
Once your Threads account reaches 100 followers, the follower count will appear automatically on your next analytics refresh.
Popup was blocked
Your browser may block the login popup. Look for a blocked-popup indicator in your browser's address bar and allow popups for FeedMansion.
