Linking got easier, onboarding got lighter, and RSS discovery improved

Instagram linking got easier, the setup flow became much simpler, and RSS discovery from website URLs improved.

This period made the first-run experience and account setup much more practical.

What changed

  • Instagram linking moved to standalone Business Login instead of the older Facebook-based flow. See Connecting social accounts.
  • LinkedIn linking became more dependable, including better organization-linking support when the necessary LinkedIn permissions were enabled.
  • Video publishing became more stable on already connected networks, with better previews and fewer edge-case failures.
  • Onboarding and content creation became simpler, with a more value-first setup flow.
  • It became easier to discover RSS feeds from a website URL instead of setting them up entirely by hand.

Availability notes

  • Analytics work continued in this period, but Meta analytics for Threads, Instagram, and Facebook were still limited to testers rather than normal users.
  • This approval constraint did not apply in the same way to platforms such as X, Bluesky, Mastodon, or LinkedIn.
  • Billing and promo changes in this window mostly affected trial users, subscribers, and users with the active tester discount.
