How to Use Channels

Plan your publishing strategy with channels. Set the cadence, pick the accounts, and let approved posts publish on schedule.

What is a Channel?

A channel is your publishing strategy in one place: which accounts you publish to, which formats fit each one, and how often posts go out. Approved posts line up in the channel and FeedMansion publishes them on the cadence you set, so you build a presence without thinking about every single slot.

Adding Posts to a Channel

  1. Review a draft on the Review page
  2. Click Approve to move it to the Posts tab
  3. From the Posts tab, click Add to Channel on any post

FeedMansion keeps this step short. Posts with an assigned channel go straight to that channel. If you have only one channel, posts go straight into it. Once you pick a channel, more posts in the same session go to the same channel. Every add shows a confirmation with an Undo button, and when the picker does open, your last choice is already selected.

Setting Your Schedule

Go to Presence > Channels to configure your posting schedule:

  • Choose which days of the week to publish
  • Set time slots for each day
  • FeedMansion will fill each slot with the next post in your channel

Managing a Channel

  • Reorder posts by dragging them in the channel list
  • Edit a queued post's text and settings without taking it out of the channel
  • Remove a post from the channel without deleting it
  • Pause the channel to stop automatic publishing temporarily

Tips

  • Start with 1-2 posts per day and increase as you build up content
  • Mix content types to keep your feed varied
  • Use the calendar view to see what's scheduled ahead
