Using FeedMansion with Your Beehiiv Blog

How to connect your Beehiiv newsletter to FeedMansion for automatic social media posts.

Note: The Help Center is under construction. Articles may be incomplete, outdated, or still evolving.

You publish a great newsletter on Beehiiv. Your subscribers read it. Then what? The content sits silent while social media keeps moving. Your ghost writers can turn every Beehiiv post into social posts that reach new audiences.

Finding your Beehiiv RSS feed

Beehiiv generates an RSS feed for every publication. Here's how to find it.

Step 1: Open your Beehiiv dashboard

Log in to your Beehiiv account and open your publication dashboard.

Step 2: Go to Settings

From the left panel, scroll down and click Settings.

Step 3: Open the RSS section

In your publication settings, click RSS in the navigation menu.

Step 4: Generate your RSS feed

If you haven't created an RSS feed yet, click New RSS Feed. Beehiiv will generate a unique URL for your publication.

Your RSS feed URL will look like this:

https://rss.beehiiv.com/feeds/XXXX.xml

The XXXX is your unique publication ID. Copy this URL. You'll need it for FeedMansion.

What if I don't see an RSS feed?

If no RSS feed exists in your settings, click New RSS Feed to create one. Beehiiv allows you to delete and regenerate feeds at any time. Just note that regenerating creates a new URL.

Connecting Beehiiv to FeedMansion

Once you have your RSS feed URL, adding it to FeedMansion takes seconds.

Step 1: Open Library

In FeedMansion, open Library in the top navigation.

Step 2: Add your RSS feed

Click Add Source and paste your Beehiiv RSS feed URL:

https://rss.beehiiv.com/feeds/XXXX.xml

FeedMansion detects the feed type automatically and fetches your latest posts.

You can manage all your sources later under Presence Settings > Sources.

After adding the feed, link it to a ghost writer. Your ghost writer will monitor your Beehiiv feed and generate social posts when you publish new newsletters.

You can link the same feed to multiple ghost writers. Each ghost writer creates posts in their own voice, so you can maintain different styles for different platforms.

What gets imported

FeedMansion imports the following from your Beehiiv RSS feed:

  • Post title and content
  • Publication date
  • Author name
  • Post URL for linking back

Your ghost writers use this content to create platform-specific posts. They never publish without your approval. You review every draft before it goes live.

Sync frequency

FeedMansion checks your RSS feed automatically. You don't need to refresh manually. New posts appear in your drafts within an hour of publishing on Beehiiv.

Need to sync immediately? Open the feed in Presence Settings > Sources and click Refresh Feed.

Best practices

Write social-friendly headlines

Your ghost writers work from your headlines. Clear, specific headlines create better social posts.

Good: "How we built a landing page that converted 3x better" Less clear: "Some thoughts on landing pages"

Use Beehiiv post metadata

Beehiiv allows you to add excerpts and summaries. Your ghost writers use these to create accurate, on-brand posts. Fill in the excerpt field when writing your newsletter.

FeedMansion includes your post URL in every draft. Readers can click through to read the full newsletter on your Beehiiv publication.

Consider what you want readers to do after seeing your social post:

  • Read the full article? The default link works perfectly.
  • Subscribe to your newsletter? Your Beehiiv site has a subscribe form.
  • Download a resource? Link directly to that in your post excerpt.

Plan your workflow

A simple workflow works best:

  1. Write and publish your newsletter on Beehiiv
  2. Wait for ghost writers to generate drafts (within an hour)
  3. Review and approve posts on your phone or desktop
  4. Posts publish at your scheduled time

No need to switch contexts. Your newsletter workflow stays in Beehiiv. Your social posting happens in FeedMansion.

Troubleshooting

Feed not updating

If new posts don't appear in FeedMansion:

  1. Check that your newsletter is Published, not just draft status
  2. Open the feed in Presence Settings > Sources and click Refresh Feed
  3. Verify the RSS feed URL in Beehiiv hasn't changed

Wrong content appearing

If drafts don't match your newsletter content:

  1. Open the feed in Presence Settings > Sources to see what FeedMansion imported
  2. Check that the correct RSS feed URL is connected
  3. Ensure you're looking at the right Beehiiv publication (you may have multiple)

Feed URL not working

If FeedMansion can't fetch your feed:

  1. Paste the URL into a browser. You should see XML content.
  2. Check that the URL ends in .xml
  3. Verify the feed exists in your Beehiiv settings under RSS
