Media Library became easier to use, and publishing controls got clearer

Creating drafts from saved media became possible, uploads became safer, and supported publishing formats became easier to understand.

This period made media handling and publishing controls easier to understand in the UI.

What changed

  • It became possible to create drafts directly from saved files in Media Library.
  • Image uploads started resizing automatically, so they fit platform limits more reliably.
  • Scheduling changed from a hard permission block to a permission-based flow, so collaborators were not blocked from every step.
  • Publishing formats became clearer. Instagram supported Post, Reel, and Story, while Facebook supported Post and Reel.
  • Reels and short-video publishing became more reliable on Instagram and Facebook, and TikTok uploads became more stable where video posting was already available.

Availability notes

  • Several changes in this period only applied to specific platforms, especially Meta surfaces and TikTok.
  • Google Business Profile groundwork was added in this period, but it was not broadly available in the UI yet.
