This period made several setup and collaboration flows simpler.
What changed
- GitHub repo sources became easier to use on the Create page, with better search, draft generation from GitHub items, and clearer error states.
- Add Source was redesigned into one shared modal for feed URLs, calendar URLs, email inboxes, and GitHub repositories.
- It became possible to invite someone by email even if they did not already have an account, with a smoother login or signup flow from the invite.
- Onboarding was reduced from four steps to three, which made the first-run path easier to complete.
- Alt text generation stopped using credits and switched to a per-Presence lifetime limit.
Availability notes
- GitHub-specific changes only mattered to people using repositories as a source.
