Disclosure pursuant to EU Regulation 2024/1689 (AI Act), Article 50
Last updated: December 2024
FeedMansion uses artificial intelligence to help you create social media content. We believe you have the right to know exactly how AI is used in our service, what data is processed, and how you maintain control over all content.
Provider: Anthropic PBC
Model: Claude 3.7 Sonnet
Type: Large Language Model (LLM) with vision capabilities
Purpose: Text generation and image understanding
We use Anthropic's Claude API, a general-purpose AI system, to generate content suggestions. Claude is designed with safety and helpfulness as core principles. For more information about the model, visit anthropic.com.
Under the EU AI Act's risk-based framework, FeedMansion's AI features are classified as limited risk AI systems. This classification applies because:
As a limited-risk system, we are subject to transparency obligations under Article 50 of the AI Act, which this document fulfills.
FeedMansion uses AI in the following specific features:
When you click "Generate Post" on an RSS feed item, our AI creates a social media post draft based on the article content.
Input: Article title, link, description, and your Ghost's personality settings
Output: Draft post text (clearly labeled as "AI generated" in the app)
Cost: 1.0 AI credit per generation
Our AI can analyze images and generate descriptive alt text for accessibility purposes.
Input: Image file
Output: Descriptive text suitable for screen readers
Cost: 0.5 AI credits per generation
AI generates promotional posts for upcoming events from connected calendar sources.
Input: Event title, date, location, description
Output: Event announcement draft with timing context
Automated draft generation when new RSS items are detected (requires explicit opt-in).
Trigger: New item in monitored RSS feed
Output: Draft post awaiting your review
Control: Must be explicitly enabled per Ghost
FeedMansion is designed with mandatory human review. All AI-generated content remains in draft status until you explicitly approve it. This is a core design principle, not an optional feature.
Because you review and approve all content before publication, you hold editorial responsibility for published posts. Under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act, content that undergoes human review and editorial control does not require AI disclosure to the public when published.
However, within the FeedMansion app, all AI-generated content remains clearly labeled so you always know its origin.
When you use AI features, the following data is sent to Anthropic's API:
According to Anthropic's data usage policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. Data is processed for the request and not retained beyond what is necessary for service delivery and abuse prevention.
For full details, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
You can create manual drafts without AI assistance at any time. Simply write your posts directly instead of using the Generate function.
Ghost automation is opt-in. You can disable it for any Ghost in the Ghost settings, ensuring AI only runs when you manually trigger it.
You can edit any AI-generated draft before approval. Change wording, add context, or completely rewrite it.
Don't like an AI suggestion? Reject it. There's no penalty for rejecting drafts, and you can always generate a new one.
AI-generated content has inherent limitations. We are transparent about these:
This is why human review is mandatory. The AI assists; you decide.
This disclosure is provided pursuant to Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act). As a provider and deployer of AI systems that interact with users and generate content, we are committed to transparency about:
AI-related data processing is conducted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Legal bases include:
For full details on data processing, see our Privacy Policy.
